Barratt David Wilson Homes North Midlands (‘Barratt’) is delighted to promote the residential development of land south of Laughton Road, Lubenham. An outline planning application is currently being prepared for the site, with the aim of securing permission for the development of around 100 new homes, consisting of a mix of market and affordable along with publicly accessible open space and a community facility.

Barratt wish to engage with the local community to present our proposals for the site and seek your views prior to submitting a planning application to Harborough District Council in the coming weeks.

This public consultation event sets out their initial design proposals as well as the technical and environmental considerations which have informed the proposed design. Barratt are keen to engage with the local community and all other stakeholder parties before finalising the proposals and submitting a planning application in the coming weeks.

Barratt’s vision is to create a sustainable and connected neighbourhood that blends seamlessly with Lubenham’s character, offering a range of affordable housing options and better connections to local amenities.

The proposals aim to meet local housing priorities, with affordable options for local families and the elderly. The scheme will also incorporate a new community facility such as a small local shop. Barratt welcomes community feedback to help shape this exciting new development.
